LINEAR / FUNCTION  speaks on the de-evolution of a people. Cleaning the slate of the societal constructs of race and gender in order to remove the controls that have been used to bring value to people since...well the construct of time. The piece moves forward with a transitory rebuilding where we explore the concept of bringing more balance to a world dominated by masculine energy via divine femininity. 

Artistic Directors, Kayla Collymore and Donna Crump embody a yin-yang state to marry the multifaceted qualities associated with both entities that complement and support one another.  We have no interest in holding either gender higher than the other, instead we’d prefer to pursue the idea that regardless of gender we can all possess nurturing, intuitive, empathetic as well as courageous and assertive qualities.

After almost two years of performance venue closures, Donna and Kayla are ecstatic to bring a live and immersive performance back to the audiences of Houston and New Orleans. To assist in creating a one of a kind high quality performance, we are hosting a fundraiser with the goal of raising $2,500.
